Removing Proxy Settings
MacOS 9.x with Netscape Communicator 4.79

Step 1:
Start Netscape Communicator.
Click the Edit menu and select Preferences and go on to Step 2.

Step 2:
In the Preferences window,
Click and expand the Advanced section and highlight the Proxies option.
Next, remove http://proxy.lib.usf.edu:8080 from the URL field.
Highlight the Direct connection to the Internet circle.
Click OK to close the Preferences window.

Step 3:
Your proxy settings are now removed.
Close Netscape.
