Removing Proxy Settings
MacOS 9.x with Internet Explorer 5.x

Step 1:
Start Internet Explorer.
Click the Edit menu and select Preferences.
Select Proxies from the left side of the Preferences window.

Step 2:
Under the Web Proxy section, click the Settings button.
In the Web Proxy Settings window,
Remove 8080 from the Port field and http://proxy.lib.usf.edu from the Address field.

Step 3:
Uncheck the Use Web Proxy for all and the Web Proxy boxes.
Click OK to close the preferences.

Step 4:
Your proxy settings are now removed.
Close Internet Explorer.
