Removing Proxy Settings
Konqueror version 2 or later

Step 1:
Start Konqueror,
click the Settings menu button,
select Configure Konqueror.

Step 2:
In the Settings / KDE Control Module window,
highlight the Proxy section,
Next, remove http://proxy.lib.usf.edu:8080 from the Location field.
Disable Use Proxy.
Click the Apply button.
Click OK to close the Settings / KDE Control Module window.

Step 3:
Your proxy settings are now removed.
Close Konqueror.
