Removing Proxy Settings
Mozilla version 1 or later
Netscape Communicator 4.79
Netscape Navigator Standalone 4.08
Netscape 6.23 or later

Step 1:
Start Netscape,
click the Edit menu button,
select Preferences.

Step 2:
In the Preferences window,
highlight the Advanced section,
then the Proxies sub-section.
Next, remove http://proxy.lib.usf.edu:8080 from the URL field.
Highlight the Direct connection to the Internet circle.
Click OK to close the Preferences window.

Step 3:
Your proxy settings are now removed.
Close Netscape.
