Step 1 -
Go to Start, Settings, Network and Dial-up Connections.



Step 2 -
You should have a connection for your wireless card listed. You may wish to rename it for easier recognition. Right click on the connection and choose Properties.




Step 3 -
In the General section, click on the configure button.




Step 4 -
This will take you to the advanced properties for the wireless card.



Step 5 -
Under advanced properties:
- For Station name enter your last name (no spaces)
- For WaveLan Network Name make sure it is left blank to automatically detect the network.
- You should leave all the other settings as they are.





Step 6 -
Your wireless card should now be setup to access USF's wireless network!
