Step 1 -
For windows 95/98/ME download the Aironet client utility from http://www.cisco.com/public/sw-center/sw-wireless.shtml,
or install it from the CD that came with your wireless PC card.



Step 2 -
Open the Aironet utility.



Step 3 -
Go to properties from the menu.



Step 4 -
Under System Parameters:
- enter your name for the Client name
- make sure the Network type is Infrastructure
- Default profile is Use Enterprise configuration.
- leave the SSID's blank to have it automatically detected.



Step 5 -
Under Network Security, make sure WEP is not enabled.



Step 6 -
Your wireless card should now be setup to access USF's wireless Network!



Optional -
You may want to install the link status meter to monitor the strength of the wireless signal for optimal performance.
